History of the Noni Fruit

Where they came from is a mystery, but it is assumed that settlers arriving in the islands of what is known today as French Polynesia brought the Noni plant as part of their precious freigth. Centuries later, in 1958 Ralph M. Heinicke would receive his doctorate in biochemistry. Upon this accomplishment, his first desire was to escape the cold Minnesota winters and he took a job with Dole Pineapple in Hawaii.
