History of the Noni Fruit
Where they came from is a mystery, but it is assumed that settlers arriving in the islands of what is known today as French Polynesia brought the Noni plant as part of their precious freigth.
It is believed that the Noni plant was most prized and revered by the settlers for its power to relief suffering and pain and restore the man from weakness.
The Noni fruit was also believed to increase the man's longevity through inciting vitality and to restore the human body to perfect health.
The knowledge and tradition has been passed on from generation to generation by the people of French Polynesia.

Centuries later, in 1958 Ralph M. Heinicke would receive his doctorate in biochemistry.
Upon this accomplishment, his first desire was to escape the cold Minnesota winters and he took a job with Dole Pineapple in Hawaii.
In Hawaii, he discovered the Noni fruit and locals told him about its helpful benefits.
Dr. Heinicke published many key articles in several scientific journals.
In the early ninetieth, ethnobotanists, biochemists and scientists became interested in the methods of native healers and began to study the remarkable Noni fruit.
Stephen Wadsworth learned from the Noni fruit from a friend and we went to Tahiti to discover the secrets of the Noni fruit.
In 1996 Morinda Inc. was founded in Utah, by Stephen Wadsworth, Stephen Story, Kelly Olsen, Kerry Asay and Kim Asay.
Today, Morinda is known as Tahitian Noni International. The company holds 90% of the global market share of Noni Juice.
